Zaatar Throw

• Anella - the Moroccan name for henna, is the basis of the colour palette for our first collection of pillows and throws co-created with Aviva Leigh.

• Using hand spun wool from the rare breed Siroua sheep, the cloth we weave to create our pillows and throws is rich in texture and character. Each unique piece honours the provenance of the materials used and the ancient skills of the artisans who create them.

• We hand dye our wool with locally grown henna, using various natural ingredients and sustainable processes to create a palette of earthy tones for your home.

• Your throw will have been crafted entirely by hand using wool that has been naturally dyed.  No two pieces are therefore ever the same, ensuring that yours is unique and authentically handmade.  Minor variations in color, and measurements (around 5%) should be expected.

• The throw is finished with approx 5" in (12 cm) long fringe along each end (measurements of the throw do not include length of fringe).

• Avoid direct sunlight

• Dry clean

• If you prefer to wash it, do so by hand by soaking it in cold water for 20 minutes with a gentle wool detergent. Squeeze out excess water (do not rub or wring) and lay flat to dry. Iron gently with a steam iron.

We require 2-4 weeks to weave and prepare.
